Cartoonist(s): John Hambrock
Comic/Cartoon: The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee
Viewable Date: 2011-05-08 Pub. Date: 2011-05-08
Image Number: 60478
Caption: How did my iPad get so messy?! Don’t look at us. Edison was at school all day and I've been shopping. Lemme see it. It's elementary, my dear Watson! Grandpa was eating chocolate syrup out of the bottle when he spilled some on his head. I'm guessing by the traces of printer's ink that he couldn't find a napkin, so he grabbed yesterday's Wall Street Journal and tried to wipe it off. Why was he touching my iPad?! He was looking up how to get crème filling out of his brown suede shoes, all whilst eating a chocolate-covered cake donut in his pajamas. Ha-ha ... Very funny Mister Holmes! Ridiculous story!! Got any suede cleaner? Crash.

When I was a kid we had to make our computers ourselves out of blocks of wood. Let me guess -- you had to walk five miles in the snow to buy printer paper. Don't be ridiculous!! We had to make it ourselves from our town trees.

Caption: How come this web site doesn't show up?!!! You need a new browser, dad. Can I get one? Sure, but first you'll need to install the latest operating system, which you can't do until you add more memory and upgrade your processor. Of course, for the new processor you'll need a new motherboard, and a larger frame to fit it all in. You'll probably want to upgrade your printer while you're at it. If you want, I could do it all for just 1800 dollars or do. And you laughed at me when I wouldn't give up my typewriter.
