Caption: Why can't everyone just get along? Not everyone sees things the same way. And when that happens, sometimes they don't get along. Like your cologne. Huh? To you, it's fragrant and sublime. To me, it's bilge water. Nice example. Or your headbanger music collection. You hear music, yet I hear monkeys being tortured. Touche. You see? That's called "getting along." Not everybody can do it. Or this brick. You feel pain, yet I feel pleasure. OW! Good one.

Caption: Edison gives Joules a lesson in American politics. Senator, on behalf of all the Democrats in congress … I want to thank you and your Republican colleagues for your overwhelming support of my bill. Cooperation is what Americans want from their lawmakers right now. Well, I've always been a cooperative sort of fellow. Ya know, Senator, why don't we join parties and form one big happy governing body. Good idea, but it would never work. I mean, what would we call ourselves? Republicats. I was thinking Demopublicans. Oh, c'mon! Republicats sounds better and you know it. Demopublicans. Republicats! Demopublicans!! Oof! Republicats!! Oww! Any more questions? Does the capitol gift shop sell aspirin?

Caption: Making a sculpture, are we? Yeah! I'm calling it "Bridge for America." One side represents the political right and the other the left, and I'm building them so they'll meet in the middle … creating a seamless structure of strength over the perilous waters of chaos and unrest. That's nicely symbolic and all, but they don't seem to be lining up. Where are you going? To get a "sledgehammer of reason" to whack 'em into place.
