Well, let's see � This is a perfectly shaped Noble Fir, which I planted, watered and fertilized for the past eight years. Then I carefully harvested, wrapped and trucked it down here to this small lot I rent ... ... Where I work twelve hours a day, seven days a week, and sleep in a cramped travel trailer, alone for most of the month of December, in order to earn a living for my family back home. What did we get? Five bucks off and a guilty conscience.

Say Obama raises my taxes to 50%, and I have to scrape by on only $5 million per year. Are you following so far? Not really. Naturally, I'd lose incentive to work, fire everyone, and hibernate in suspended animation till taxes are low again.
