Cartoonist(s): Nina Paley
Comic/Cartoon: Nina's Adventures
Viewable Date: 2008-12-04 Pub. Date: 1994-12-09
Image Number: 1915
Caption: You're so negative! You don't understand my anger and bitterness reflect a strong positive attitude! My depression is merely a by-product of my unceasing struggle to effect positive change - a struggle borne of persistent optimism! My willingness to express disappointment suggests an enthusiasm to embrace the grieving process so that I might optimistically continue to work for my dreams! What's really negative is such resignation toward the state of the world that one no longer feels motivated to change it or oneself in any meaningful way, but rather to condemn and censure those who are trying. SCOWL AMERICA!!
