Caption: You've reached Slummlerd Apartments. How may we hinder you? I'm Lemont Brown, apartment 38. Last week you raised my rent another $40. Today, I got a notice you're charging me a $195 "rental assessment fee." The city charges us an annual fee to assess how much we're allowed to raise your rent. They let us pass the assessment fee on to you. I"m already paying you $1,350! $1,390 this month, if you include the assessment fee. So instead of helping us out in these tough times, you're nickel-and-diming tenants who already pay you thousands per month. Do you know how insulting that is? Are you asking me to assess the situation? NO! NEVER MIND.

Caption: Hello, you've reached Feudalbanc Massacard's fraud protection department. This is Ryan, how may I hinder you? I'd like to report some fraud. I noticed my APR has been increased from 12.5% to 29.9%. … Even though I've never missed a payment, my balance is really low, and I've been a customer of yours for over a dozen years. You sent me a letter saying you jacked up my APR because my debt-to-limit ratio on a card from a different company is too high. Why does my owing someone else money mean you get to rush in and charge me more? Um ... sir, you said you had fraud to report. Haven't you been listening, Ryan?

Caption: You've reached Dubble Cross Health Insurance. How may we hinder you? Hi, a few months back, I fell off a cliff. I had a panic attack afterward and was hospitalized. But it says here you're declining to cover it because it was a pre-existing condition. Let me look at your file, Mr. Brown. ...Ah, yes. It appears your panic attack was brought on by trauma related to your chronic gravititis. My chronic gravi-WHAT-is? That means you've got a history of being vulnerable to the pull of nearby celestial bodies such as the earth. That chronic affliction is why you fell off the cliff and had your panic attack. Is evil a pre-existing condition? No. read the fine print.
