Caption: Trayvon Martin visits Lemont's dream. After the shock wore off, America settled into its usual pattern. People tried to justify your death. They pointed out that you may have fought back. They brought up every little dumb teenage mistake you'd ever made, made up a few more, and posted some of your slang-filled tweets ... Because it's easier to sleep at night if we convince ourselves that people deserve the horrible things that happen to them. How's all that make you feel? Not lol.

Caption: Dear idiot … I read your latest blog post about how Obama's critics are "goofy" for acting as if Obama invented the concept of progressive taxation. You went on to cite all the progressive tax rates of the last 150 years … … and "pointed out" that the rates Obama wants are actually far less than what we had decades ago. It's awfully "goofy" of YOU to pretend something isn't radical and new just because it's been around forever. THE WHOLE COUNTRY NEEDS TO BE SLAPPED WITH A DICTIONARY. His plan to stick to progressive taxation is RADICAL and NEW, just like it as been ever since 1862.

Image Number: 18004
Caption: I love these summer evening reality checks from Oliver! Hold out a speck of sand at arm's length… That's the portion of the night sky at which they pointed the Hubble telescope for a week. It was there--deep within that dot of dark nothingness ten billion light years distant--that they found the unexpected: Galaxies! Thousands! THOUSANDS! ...with billions of stars! ...and trillions of new worlds. And beyond those...MORE! All of the space of a single of sand on the vast beach of the cosmos. Which nicely frames the question man has been asking for millennia. What question? What's the center of it all? Me. Me, baby.
