The Trot. Don't be pretentious in your beginnings. Start on some quiet gentle trotting. Screw and bear well in mind the following: Your legs to your nag's sides. Your arms to your own. Your hands and heels down. You heart and head up. 4. The Gallop. In the gallop, allow your horse to go freely, simply keeping his head straight. 5. Jumping. Sit steady and over you go. 6. A Finished Horseman.
