And then suddenly it dawned on me … duh! Dried plums are prunes! I don't know why they have a different name for plums when they're dried, but they do. Same thing with raisins. Raisins are just dried-up grapes. Are grampas just dried-up men?

18.
Cartoonist(s): Nina Paley
Comic/Cartoon: Nina's Adventures
Viewable Date: 2008-10-15 Pub. Date: 1988-09-01
Image Number: 1925
Caption: Sometimes Nina feels pressured by the people around her. Like right now she feels pressured to bank at the politically correct bank rather than the more economical, high-interest paying bank, because that bank is politically incorrect. WHAT?! You bank at the politically incorrect bank?! Don't you know how insensitive that is?! But ... But they pay interest! Well, she seemed like a good person, but she doesn't go the politically correct bank! Maybe in her next lifetime .... She's terrified to think that someone might find out she sometimes chews sugarfree grape bubble gum! Not only is that not politically correct, but it's also not macrobiotic, not karma-free, not natural and non-biodegradable! She also feels pressured to start digging astrology immediately. Like wow, man! All your planets are in Taurus! You're like totally earthy! Uh-huh. You don't say. Imagine that. Nina's biggest worry is that she's not merely different from the people around her; she's actually less spiritually evolved. She doesn't go to the politically correct bank, but only because she's a lower life form ... Perhaps in a millennium of two.....
