Caption: You're new to Facebook, aren't you, mom? I think it's fun trying new things. I noticed that you replied to your sister's post about her cat being put to sleep. Yes, poor Pearl. I wanted to let her know how sorry I am for her loss. That's nice, but I thought putting "lol" at the end was a bit harsh. Harsh? You do know that "lol" stands for "laughing out loud," don't you? Not "lots of love"?

Caption: When I was a kid we had a dog that loved to rip open presents. I was shopping with Pearl and I found a top on sale that I fell in love with. We had to be careful on Christmas and birthdays because she'd tear open all the gifts. And then Pearl pointed out that it was the same top I was already wearing. He doesn't do that as much now that he's dead. Listening to gramma and grampa is like watching two tv shows at the same time.

You always end up spilling the beans and spoiling the surprise. No, I don't! Oh, no? What about that secret Grampa told you? What secret? You said Grampa told you the reason he's able to get to so many places in such a short time is that he can fly, but don't tell Gramma because she doesn't know. And that's how I learned that not only do you have trouble keeping secrets, but you also believe anything Grampa tells you.
